Spring Term 2021

March 2021: We enjoyed World Book Week as part of our home learning by creating our own potato characters and designing our own front covers through drama and 3D collages. To celebrate the end of home learning all the children collected a book pack from school containing a book, bookmarks, hot chocolate and cookies. We had our last live teams session with story-time, along with our hot chocolate and cookies.

Welcome to Wrens!

Welcome to our classroom! On this page you will see all the wonderful things we do in The Foundation Stage. In Wrens we follow the interests of the children and plan rich opportunities for the children to learn through play. We have worked hard to create an exciting and stimulating environment to support the children throughout their learning. Please take the time to look at our pictures and read about our work. If you would like to know more about our class or our curriculum, please come and visit us. We look forward to meeting you!

Here is what some of our children have to say about our class.

"I like working in the home corner, making dinner and singing" - Foundation Stage 1 pupil (aged 3)

"I like using the wooden blocks to make an island! I like writing too." - Foundation Stage 2 pupil (aged 4)

"I like reading and writing stories and drawing pictures. I enjoyed the teddy bear picnic and liked eating the sandwiches we made." - Year 1 pupil (aged 5)
