The following statement describes North Clifton Primary School’s ethos, aims and values:
“We are a small school with big ideas. At North Clifton it is our vision that all children will become independent learners. We believe in nurturing their passion, encouraging their individuality and personalising their learning. We believe that the children who take ownership of their learning will achieve their very best. Through the dedication of the staff, the support of the family and the drive of the children, all at North Clifton will challenge themselves and realise their full potential.”
In signing this Agreement, we will all be formally affirming our belief in the importance of a strong partnership between our pupils, our parents and the school.

Parents and carers should:
Support the school’s aims, ethos and British Values.
Ensure that your child attends school regularly and on time.
Notify the school, on the first day, of the reason, in the event of your child not attending.
Make the school aware of any concerns or problems which may affect her/his behaviour.
Support the schools ‘Code of conduct’ for behaviour.
Support your child in completing homework tasks, which may include reading, writing, spelling and mathematics.
Attend parent’s evenings and other discussions concerning your child’s progress.
Park in the car park when dropping off and collecting your child.
