World Book Day: A Celebration of Stories!

What a fantastic day we have had celebrating Wold Book Day. Everyone looked fantastic dressed in their outfits and we had a good variety of pyjamas and book characters! 

We had fun in our ‘Reading Cafe’, where we visited different stations set out with a range of genres, chatted about the books, completed a ‘reading menu’ and enjoyed biscuits and juice. We also took part in a scavenger hunt around school, looking for different books which contained certain elements, such as a king, a witch, a happy ending, a metaphor or a story set in a different time period. It was so lovely to spend the day immersed in books. Just how World Book Day should be!
