Farms and the growing season are well underway in the Robins this week! The children have been busy exploring through our farm and Rosie’s Walk tuff spot activities, as well as enjoying our lovely farm shop role play 🐓🌱

Happy Earth Day! The Robins have made ‘pledges’, thinking how they can reduce, reuse and recycle.

Today in maths, we have been learning about mass and capacity. We used scales and measuring jugs to weigh and measure different objects. The children enjoyed getting hands-on and did a great job comparing and describing what they found.

What an amazing afternoon we had at Slate Farm Forest School! We gathered around the campfire for story time (after making our own fire), created clay sculptures inspired by the characters in our story, swished water with sticks, toasted marshmallows, and simply enjoyed being children and having fun 🌿🔥

The whole school enjoyed celebrating Pancake Day with some exciting races!
