In Geography, Year 2 have been learning all about what it’s like to live by the coast, using Weymouth as their focus. They explored the physical and human features of coastal towns and then created persuasive adverts to encourage people to visit. Their adverts included brilliant reasons to go—from the ginormous swimming pool and beautiful harbour to the lovely bike rides, quick train journeys (with lots of stations!), and of course, you can’t miss the beautiful beach! A fun and imaginative way to combine geography with persuasive writing.
