Stone Age Supper: A Feast to Remember

Today we had a feast fit for a king… well, a Stone Age one at least! We were so impressed with the Owls' adventurous attitudes as they sampled some unusual foods, including locusts, edible flowers, dates and mustard seeds. As part of our DT work, we explored taste, texture, appearance and smell, while also thinking about nutritional value and seasonality. This deliciously different tasting session was perfect preparation for designing our very own Stone Age soup or stew!
